For this next moon cycle I have decided to set my goal on
following my bliss. For the past three years or so I have been researching
healthy living recommendations from spiritual teachers, nutritionists,
self-healing books, yoga, and like-minded life enthusiasts. And I am finally at
the point where I am ready to begin to live my full potential. The only problem
is the system I currently have for making money and paying bills, ya know, the
way we get by in life? This system I have been living by for my entire adult
life doesn’t allow me to shift and change when I need to. Just as the seasons
change, we, as a part of nature, should change with them. I’ve tried to work
with it and do my best in spite of timed obligations, but I’ve practiced that
enough to know it’s not working. It’s time for me to live by my own schedule.
For now, the schedule I have is manageable. I have to leave
for work no earlier than 8am. That leaves me just enough time to wake and have
a bit of a morning to myself before having to run out the door for eight to
nine hours a day. I come home and have on average seven hours before I should
be sleeping. Soon, the autumn season will be calling me to bed sooner, limiting
the time I have to run my business, write, cook, clean, have a little down
time, spend some time outside, etc.
Autumn is approaching and to stay in line with the energy of
the season, it is recommended to go to bed early and get up at dawn. The
morning after the first day of autumn the sun will be rising at 6:33. This is
when I will begin to rise as well. I will spend the first hour hydrating,
taking some supplements, then off to yoga. It will be nearing 8am as I come out
of my morning meditation. And I will be ready to start my day. Needing at least
another hour before I am ready to leave the house (for anyone thinking that is
a lot of time I must ask, when are taking your dumps? For real). For me to be
able to work a regular job, I must be able to change my schedule according to
the season. Cleaning, cooking, reading, writing, exercise, cleaning, writing,
and eating all in between is what my days must consist of. These are my
passions. This is how I must begin to live my life.
This is how I will begin to live my life as of September 23,
2016.
I am going to begin living my life to my truth. I believe we
should live seasonally, like fruits and vegetables. It seems to make sense to
me that we rise and set with the sun, and with the jobs I’ve held since I began
to believe this to be a truth in my life have not allowed me to experiment with
this. So, for this next moon cycle I will prepare to take the turn onto this
new path. I have worked a “regular” job since I was 15 years old. 19 years
later, I’m ready for a change. For this first week I am going to keep up on my
morning yoga, take a run after work or an evening walk after dinner or both if
I’m really feelin’ it. And I’m going to let myself move at my own pace. I’m
going to be writing three blogs a week, and I’m going to set up my cleaning
business. Temporarily I will be taking jobs on weekends only, but at the start
of the next moon cycle my availability will be flexible.
Today the moon began its’ 8th phase of this last
summer cycle. Today is the Receptive Waning Crescent Balsamic Moon Phase,
emphasizing completion. I have made the decision to complete the phase in my
life where I live by other people’s expectations and needs. From this point
forward, I am beginning to follow my bliss.
There’s no back-up plan. No safety net. I’m ready to spread
my wings. I’m ready to live my destiny.
All that matters is that you are happy and feel satisfied at the end of the day. Best wishes! I did not know you wanted to establish a cleaning business. I will do my best to follow your blog and read your three posts a week :-)
