Moon Horoscope November 27, 2017 - December 3, 2017

Hello folks! It's been a long time since I've posted, and it has been a busy, bliss following year. I have spent a lot of time working through old emotions that held me back and wasted a lot of productive time. Working through them sometimes seemed like a waste of time, but to simply ignore what was pushing my buttons and "sweep it under the rug" without processing and releasing the old emotions just makes more work for me the next time I'm triggered. The more I practice moving past the emotions of anger, guilt, sadness, fear, etc, the less I'm affected negatively by the things that I cannot control.
One of the things I have continued to work on, that which brings me much bliss, is my astrology hobby. I have been working on creating my own Moon calendar, and by doing so I have been inspired to create weekly moon horoscopes. I'm keeping this post short, and hope to be back much more often. For now I leave you with my first ever Weekly Moon Horoscope! It is nearly unedited, but I am an editing addict and if I don't post it now, before I know it half the week will be over and it will no longer be of any use. So without any further adieu, I bring you...the future...

Weekly Moon Agenda: November 27, 2017 – December 3, 2017

We start a half day into the Waxing First Quarter Moon, and heading into the second of the two and a half days of the Pisces cycle. For a Monday, we’ll be feeling more motivated than usual due to the innovative and creative energy of the First Quarter Moon phase. We can catch the high vibes of initiation, passion, growth, and use this time for deepening, developing, and practicing. With the moon in Pisces, we’ll be encouraged to use our creativity. Be prepared and let the juices flow.

If you haven’t yet, get laundry up to date and get the kitchen work done. We need to get all the work out of the way so we can spend the rest of the day daydreaming, and be sure to make some time for daydreaming, for we must come down out of our dream clouds and into Aries late Tuesday morning. We’ll be ready to get to work, having the energy to take on several jobs at once.

The Aries energy merges with the energy of the fourth phase of this moon cycle, the Waxing Gibbous Moon, flooding us with the vibes for vision, preparation, efficiency, analysis, expression, creation, realizing, gathering, manifestation. Thanks to Aries, we will have the spark and drive to make the next few days highly productive. If there is anything, or lots of anything’s, you want to get done, now is the time to do it. This will carry us through to Thursday afternoon when the Waxing Gibbous Moon enters Taurus. The last bit of Aries energy Thursday morning will be enough to clean up any messes that were made earlier in the week.

Getting any new work done once the moon shifts into Taurus is going to be tough. Focus on what you’ve already started within the past week, we’re heading toward the first Full Moon of December bringing this week to an exciting end. While the moon is still in the Taurus Waxing Gibbous phase, begin to prepare meals for the freezer. You may be tempted to penny pinch and now is a great time. Use up all your scraps, be efficient and creative.

Sunday’s mid-morning Waning Full Moon in Gemini is the perfect time for a beautiful, healthy, abundant all day snack buffet. It is a time for illumination, awareness, realization, experience, fruition, receiving, nourishment, fulfillment. It is the final Full Moon of 2017! Despite the chilled temps and frosty weather, it is still Autumn. Most of December is still Autumn! Let’s not get ahead of ourselves now. For this Full Moon have a fire outside and a gratitude ceremony. Revisit all that you have experienced through the year. Celebrate the last of this years’ light and energy, as it will only get much darker once we get closer to the New Moon later in the month along with the Winter Solstice, after which the light begins to return shining toward a new year. No matter how you choose to view this upcoming Full Moon be sure to celebrate and be joyful!

The Gemini moon will keep you from wanting to spend too much time in the kitchen though, so, again, be prepared! Begin to tidy up other areas of your home, including your desk. Take care of paperwork and get bills in order. Monday morning will be the perfect time to send out those letters and bills you organized so nicely over the weekend (or early Monday morning). The moon doesn’t shift out of Gemini until late afternoon, and once it enters Cancer you most likely won’t want to leave the house.

Don’t forget…we welcomed the Sun in Sagittarius six days ago! Until December 21st we get to enjoy the energy of the Sagittarius Sun. From my We'Moon calendar we are told during Sagittarius to, "Wander. Under Mutable Fire Sagittarius; we want to expand our horizons, travel in mind, body, or spirit, to commune with strangers and with the natural world. The mood is restless, cheerful friendly, and outspoken. Explore gratitude."

A list: Things to make your life more enjoyable

9 PRACTICES TO POP YOUR MENTAL CHERRY
1. STOP BLAME SHIFTING. Learning to take responsibility for our own emotions is freeing. We can learn much about ourselves and others once we begin to get this one down. A lot of us may not even realize we’re doing it. For me it’s taking a lot of practice because I did it often. If you’re not a serial blame shifter, then this could be an easy one. For those fellow blame shifters out there…this one’s for you. We do this often in close relationships and any time we feel stressed or uneasy. We feel obligated to point a finger at something. We need a reason. But to just take responsibility and accept it for being what it is, that’s the challenging part. And once you take on that challenge you will begin to see the rewards.
2. ALWAYS REMEMBER THERE ARE NO RULES. A purpose of life is to create our own individual heaven on Earth. We grow, learn, and work in order to accomplish our dreams. What is right for one, may not be right for another. Rules are guidelines. If you know your path involves living outside of the rules you have been introduced to, then you know following the rules isn’t always the right thing to do. Being you, doing you, living your truth is how you follow your bliss.
3. PRACTICE DEEP BREATHING. Our breath is our life force and can aid us in many things. Deep breathing can be a great reminder to relax the muscles in the body (this is a part of #8, too). When there is tenseness anywhere in the body it prevents the complete relaxation the body needs in order to run properly. Meditations are useful for full body relaxation, don’t forget the brain is a muscle. Full body relaxations include every bit of your being inside and out from the tip of your top hair to the tip of your longest toenail. Happy body, happy life (Just like the happy wife, happy life saying. Both are true).
4. HAVE POSITIVE SELF-TALK. And positive out-talk, meaning to talk aloud about yourself or others positively. This is deep rooted for many. Again, we may not even realize when we’re doing it. We must become more conscious of not only the things we say, but also the things we think. Thoughts are things. Negative thoughts bring negative experiences. Positive thoughts bring positive experiences. Utilize the power of your thinking to create goodness.
5. MOVEMENT. Find the kind that suits you and think of it as medicine for your body. Movement keeps the juices flowing through your joints and organs and everything else we can’t see…like our energy.
6. TRUST. In yourself, in others. You may find sometimes you’re wrong, but were you really? There is a lesson in many situations in life. Trust me.
7. LET YOUR MIND BE STILL. If you think you can’t, then you must.
I was in the shower when my mind was running at full speed and then it stopped for a moment. I realized I forgot what I had started thinking about in the first place. Then I thought, “Well, what should I think about now?” lightbulb goes off  “Jen…you don’t NEED to be thinking, your mind can be clear.” It was a miracle. At least it was a miracle for me, as I didn’t think it was possible to not be thinking about something. Boy was I wrong. And boy was I in need of some quiet.
8. RELEASE ATTACHMENT. Attachment to things, people, thoughts, ideas, beliefs, routines, feelings, everything. This may begin with clothes or other personal possessions, until you realize that your only personal possessions are your thoughts, and even those can be released. Nothing belongs to you. But everything is a part of you. This is the beautiful part of release. Think of something you love and cherish greatly. Now think about loving and cherishing it without it by your side. You can do this because it is a part of you, always connected. We don’t need to be attached to anything because we are connected to everything at all times.
9. LOVE. Love more often, love wider, love longer, love when you think you can’t. Love is looking at the good in others and yourself, having hope for the best in others and yourself. Love is kindness. Be kind in every thought, each word, even when you think you can’t, and you will learn much about love.
